Rain Falls

Rain Falls is an asymmetrical triangle shawl filled with texture and color, knit using two-color brioche, two-color garter, two-color seed stitch, and marled garter stitch for a heavy border.

This shawl pattern is written out exactly as I knit it, but the color choices and changes are completely up to you! Included with the pattern is the simple color blending formula I used. When I started this shawl, Hurricane Harvey was on its way to South Texas, where I live. I was having a difficult time focusing on my work because I just wanted to keep my family safe. But I also needed a little bit of a distraction before the power went out. So I grabbed all of my favorite balls of fingering weight yarn that were left over from different projects and designs, and just cast on! I didn’t want to count stitches or pay too much attention to what I was doing.
