Psychedelic mushrooms

These cute psychedelic mushrooms are worked bottom up in joined rounds for the stipe and in continuous rounds for the cap and underside. Only basic stitch types are required, so it’s a great project for beginners. Ensure you maintain tension and crochet relatively tight (i.e. amigurumi).

Three variations of Fly Agaric mushrooms with slight differences in stipe, cap and size are provided. After all, mushrooms come in all funky shapes and sizes in nature! The large mushroom pattern also includes instructions to thread gills on the underside.

Materials required: 3.5 mm (US E-4) crochet hook Red Heart Super Saver Yarn: 1x ball cherry red + 1x ball soft white Scissors Stitch marker or alternative (i.e. safety pin) Yarn needle
