Primavera

It all started with one skein of mohair yarn in a gorgeous hydrangea blue. I had to buy it and figured someday I would know what to do with it. I couldn’t imagine an entire shawl knit with mohair but combine it with a next-to-the-skin soft, squishy merino and you have my super soft Primavera Shawl. What could be more spring than rays of sun beaming down to warm the earth for spring flowers to grow. In this shawl the thick stripes symbolize the sun’s ray and the flower border emerges from them to give it just the drape it needs to lay perfectly on your shoulders. That’s why this shawl is called Primavera which is Spanish for spring. Thank you, Annuska (Swedutch) for the Swedish translation!
