Wine may be the perfect holiday hostess gift, but in Texas we give tequila or whiskey. Crochet a prickly pear bag for the bottle you're gifting this year. Instead of ending up in the waste basket with the rest of the trash, it will be regifted year after year with a new bottle.
These gift bags work up quickly in worsted weight yarn and are a little wider to accommodate a standard 1-litre liquor bottle. Instructions are given to increase the height for taller bottles.
Skill level: Easy to intermediate
Finished bags measure approximately 8-9 " tall by 5” inches wide, but can be easily adjusted for taller bottles.
