Product Description
This is a modular knit blanket and is a modern take on a traditional log cabin design. It is knit in squares which are sewn together to give the circular effect. It is a great portable project that you can pick up and work on for short periods of time without needing too much concentration. The pattern gives a photo tutorial, layout diagrams and instructions for 3 sizes of blanket:
Baby or Stroller Blanket size - 81 x 81 cms (32” x 32”)
Throw size - 152 x 117 cms (60” x 46”)
Bed size - 188 x 152 cms (74" x 60")
It is very easy to adapt it to any size you wish and would work well as a scrap buster project. You could also use worsted/aran yarn instead of double knit if you prefer. Just be aware that the finished squares will be bigger.
By changing the colour layout in the squares you can achieve very different effects.
