Pineapple Soap Cozy (or Small Gift Bag)

After sharing my Carrot Soap Cozy (or Small Gift Bag), I have been wanting to make one that looked like a pineapple complete with the leaves.

I thought the criss crossed stitch pattern was appropriate for the pattern/texture of an actual pineapple, and the leaves are a modified version of my Super Easy Carrot Applique.

This little bag is excellent for using as a soap cozy (gift a homemade soap with it!), candy/favor pouch (for a tropical party!) or as a gift bag (gift with some Summer themed earrings).

Materials You'll Need: 70 Yards of Worsted Weight Yarn (I used Lily Sugar n Cream in Yellow & Sage Green), H8/5mm Crochet Hook, Tapestry Needle, Optional, Jewelry Pliers.
