Product Description

This beginner-friendly pattern helps you create a cozy, top-down baby sweater with Piglet embroidered on the front. The cardigan is worked in one piece from the neckline down, with raglan shaping and a charming asymmetrical front closure along the left raglan line. The pattern includes row-by-row written instructions, making it perfect for beginners or knitters who want step-by-step guidance. You’ll begin with neckline shaping using short rows, continue with raglan increases, work the sleeves flat, and then finish the body. Decorate the smooth stockinette with color Pig motif embroidery using duplicate stitch colorwork.

The cutest baby cardigan 👶😍

Such a gorgeous design - so cute! I would love to see a knit charted version (intarsia) as the duplicate stitching of the motif took a long time and it was tricky to work out the correct positioning. There was no guidance on duplicate stitch or how to work out the positioning of the motif in the pattern instructions so I wouldn't class this as a beginner level pattern. However, I'm delighted with the end result all the same.
