This spiral patterned hat is perfect for left over yarn. It only uses about 120m of DK yarn and 120m of fingering; the fingering yarn is held throughout to create a marled effect.
Knit in the round, the hat is comfortable and loose. The pattern offers an option to have the hat be more snug like a beanie.
I used 3 colours, but it can be done with one main colour and a second fingering yarn for the marled fabric.
