Looking from directly in front you see only stripes. The image emerges as you walk around it.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eYou can use any weight of yarn but I recommend using something fairly fine or the finished piece will be enormous. I used Stylecraft Special 4 ply in Lipstick and Cream at about 6 stitches to the inch. I used approximately 900 metres (1000 yards) of each colour with extra for the border.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe finished hanging is about 110 cm (44”) by 132 cm (52”).
