I had previously ordered a value pack in the same colour and needed an extra pack to finish the blanket I was making. The wool does not split when crocheting and had a very slight sheen to it which is nice. It is really good value for money and I have ordered 3 addition value packs in different colours.
Love this wool, I’ve done 7 king size throws so far with it and it washes lovely too. Excellent value for money and such a choice of colours. Delivery is so fast too
Yarn very easy to work with. Free flowing...no knots. Good stitch definition, therefore very effective pattern. Excellent quality. Would definitely recommend.

First time trying the Paintbox dk. It works up well and has a smooth feel to it. Colorway was true to the one shown on the website.
I'm afraid that the pattern, Frosty Firs Blanket is a little hard to follow. I wish there was a video to show some of the stitches. I am also disappointed in the yarn colors. I ordered the colors that were suggested and they are nothing like the colors in the picture. In fact one of the colors I ordered was "dusty rose" and the color I received was a lime green. It would be a problem for me to send all back and hope for better results in a reorder so I'm going to push on. Despite the problems I...
I'm making sweaters for my sons for Christmas and am using Paint box DK. It knits up nice. It's soft and not heavy. It's easy to knit with.

Fabulous soft yarn, used dark blue 2 x 100g balls K1, P1 rib, 65 stitches to make a scarf and part of another 100g ball to make a matching hat for my adult son. He loves them !!
