Orca Cowl is inspired by killer whales swimming across the ocean. Killer whales are matriarchal societies and they stay together for life. With this cowl, I wanted to pay a tribute to these beautiful communities of queens of the seas, who hunt, care for their young and travel the oceans together. The cowl is knitted in the round from side to side with a stranded pattern worked in two colors. It starts with a provisional cast-on grafted at the end to the last round to create a perfectly seamless finish. The cowl is available in two sizes. The Short size is worn as a single loop around your neck. With the Long size, you can wrap it a few times around your neck or wear it hanging. You can easily adjust the size of your cowl by working more or less pattern repeats.
