Product Description
Old Romance is a beautiful blanket, inspired by vintage carpet bags, tapestries and floral pictures. It is detail rich, with surface crochet, post crochet and simple embroidery. The octagonal and square motifs are made individually and then joined together before adding the border, which has its own embellishments to reflect the main motifs. As written, the pattern works up to 86cm/36" square, ideal for a baby blanket or lap blanket. It is easy to make the blanket larger, but it will obviously require more yarn than is listed. The pattern includes detailed instructions, photographs and a layout chart for putting it together.

Excellent, fast service
I've only just started but I think the end result will be lovely. I've had a few niggles with the pattern where the photos don't reflect the instructions (eg embroidery shown in photos for the small offset squares but not mentioned in the pattern)
