Ogee tank

This pattern was originally published in Pom Pom Quarterly Issue 29. The lace tank was inspired by the intricate carved stone arches of the historical Alhambra.

Ogee is a sleeveless top knitted from the bottom up in one piece. The body is worked in the round to the armholes, and the upper body is then worked flat. The top has an all over pattern with traveling twisted stitches and simple scallop lace. The shoulder straps are worked in i-cord then joined using the Kitchener stitch. Ogee tank is reversible and can be worn with the lower neckline at the front or the back; however, for the purposes of the pattern “Back” refers to the side with the lower neckline.
