Nutcracker stuffed toy

This is my original design that I created for my holiday-loving kids. He makes a great cuddly toy or a festive decoration!

It helps to have some experience making amigurumi toys to complete him successfully, but he is doable for a confident beginner as long as you pay close attention to the directions. He is crocheted in the round as one piece from head to toe, with only the arms made separately and sewn on.

He can be made in any color combo you like in worsted weight yarn. He’s a great stash buster too, since he only takes partial skeins of each color. You’ll need a fine-tooth comb or dog brush to rat his hair, and some felt and embroidery floss to make his eyes.
