Norwegian Pearl

This design came about following a wonderful “special” birthday cruise to the beautiful Norwegian fjords with one of my closest friends. The last destination was the beautiful town of Bergen, where I found a fabulous yarn store with a lovely chatty young lady who was only to happy to assist in my purchases. The blues in the yarn I’ve chosen remind me of the glorious blues of the Norwegian seas and the stunning clarity and beauty of the country itself, as well as the charm of its inhabitants – hence why I’ve called the pattern Norwegian Pearl.

Although I’ve used a sock weight, this pattern can translate into any weight you like – you would just need to amend the number of repeats in order to get the length and depth of shawl you require.
