Product Description
Inspired by the 19th century Norwegian Fana Cardigan, the traditional star, band and checkerboard motifs make this sock fun to knit in four sizes. The stockinette stitch heel flap is knitted in a checkerboard pattern, with a Round Heel and Toe. The gauge is 8 stitches/inch in 2 color Stockinette stitch. Five-ply Guernsey or firm sport weight yarn is recommended, but if you prefer a lighter-weight sock, sock yarn can be used.
