Night Owl c2c blanket

I designed this blanket for a little girl who loves owls. I wanted an autumn, woodland themed blanket. The owl is sitting on a tree branch in the moonlight and to add interest, I also included a toadstool and snail in the design too. The blanket measures 34 x 34 inch (86 x86 cm) square and is a generous size for a baby, toddler or lap blanket. The blanket is made using the corner to corner crochet technique (c2c) to produce a graphgan. The pattern includes a colour chart, line by line pattern instructions, finished border pattern and instructions on how to work corner to corner. It is essential that you know how to change colours in c2c, there are many videos online to help with this. I used a 4.5 mm hook and 10 shades of stylecraft DK yarn. Yarn amounts and shades are listed in the pattern.
