Nero177 | Top

Nero177 is a modern sleeveless top featuring a lace cable pattern. The design is delicate, elegant and feminine.

It is knitted seamlessly top-down. First, the upper back section is knitted in garter stitch in rows, shoulders are shaped using German short rows. Knitting in rows continues in lace pattern until the armholes. For the front, stitches for the shoulders are picked up and knitted in garter stitch until the neckline is shaped and both sections are joined. Knitting in rows continues in lace pattern, and from the armholes onwards, the work is joined in the round. At the end, a simple short edge is knitted in garter stitch.

At first glance, the pattern may seem challenging, but once you’ve got the hang of the pattern and the sequence of patterns for your size, the knitting flows beautifully and is great fun to work on.

The top has a negative ease of -4 cm for sizes XS/S and M, and -2 cm for L/XL.

Width and length can be adjusted by increasing the number of pattern repeats.
