Munro Socks

This is a classic ankle sock pattern with a soft textured chevron running down the front and back. It’s worked as an ankle sock but is very easily adapted to any length and would make a great boot sock. I've worked this in 100% Cashmere which makes it the perfect Luxury Christmas gift, although you could work it in any double knit yarn providing you check your tensions. I've also recommended Rico's Essential Cashlana DK if your'e on a budget as it's a great Cashmere blended with Wool.

Skills required:

You will need to be able to work in the round using double pointed needles and know how to work a cable pattern. I’ve given row by row instructions and included symbols charts for easy reference.

For an expert finish on the toe it is helpful to know how to graft live stitches, though not imperative.
