Mugo Pine SocksThis pattern is inspired by the humble Mugo Pine, a dwarf mountain pine that can be found especially in the Italian and Swiss Alps. It is found usually between 1000 and 2200 meters of altitude. This beautiful plant is well known for its medicinal properties. My family shares recipes on how to make beautiful liquors, and a special cough syrup out of this pine’s pinecones. It is absolutely gorgeous!
