Muffin The Puffin

Muffin is a very curious little Puffin. She loves hopping around the rocks by the sea, looking for new things to add to her shell and fossil collection. I wonder what shiny thing she spotted this time!

The pattern instructions are written in US crochet terms, with step by step pictures of the making process and charts for the flat details on the face. The finished puffin made in similar yarn and hook will stand around 20cm/8inches tall. 

You’ll need to know how to:

・make a Magic Ring

・work in a round

・single crochet

・increase/decrease

・invisible decrease (decreasing in front loops only)

・half double crochet

・double crochet

・chain stitch

・slip stitch

You will need:  A selection of 4-ply or DK cotton yarns. I'm using Drops Safran  in Black, White and Strong Yellow but any similar cotton yarn will work well! 

3.5mm hook 24mm black safety eyes (use size that suits your toy best, I like the eyes big!)
