Mrs. Croft's Cuffs

This pattern is inspired by Mrs. Sophia Croft, a character in Jane Austen's Persuasion. She travels all over the world, and a number of places around home.

The pattern download includes an article about Mrs. Croft's travels, a full written pattern, lace charts, and step by step photos. The Cuffs wrap around the hand and wrist, button closed, and can be knitted to a longer length for a larger wrist measurement. If buttons seem too fussy, one can always seam the cuffs and use decorative buttons.

The finished product is warm and snuggly, and a wonderful accent for 3/4 sleeve sweaters during the winter. It's a quick knit, and makes an excellent gift as the size is adjustable to fit the recipient.
