Mothwings

Mothwings is a sweeping shawl that blends five colorways in a fade that radiates in several directions. An overall, simple slip-and-Garter pattern crosses the fade, creating a deeply textured, woven appearance. Mothwings is big, light and lovely, and would look awesome in either dramatic or ethereal colors.

Luscious yarn from Ritual Dyes makes it glow. I've partnered with Rachel of Ritual Dyes who is debuting her new yarn base, PIXIE! PIXIE is a lustrous high-twist single of 70% Merino and 30% silk. It has 438 yards to 100 grams, and this big shawl uses it all!

If you are using different yarn, note that this project uses all of five skeins of 430+ yards.
