The Celtic knot, in all of its many variations, is a series of knots that are overlapped or interwoven, with no definitive beginning or end. The Celtic knot of motherhood is featured on the leg of these mosaic socks. The knot depicts a parent and child embrace, the two hearts intertwined. This pattern incorporates mosaic knitting, a colorwork method where the pattern is created by slipping select stitches of the MC on CC rows. Written round-by-round instructions are provided along with a charted pattern.
