Mornings on the James

Mornings on the James is a crescent shawl shaped by increases on every row. Pattern includes both written and charted instructions.

The sample is knit in a fingering weight yarn, but pattern is easily adapted to heavier yarns.

Yardage requirements- You will need 880 yards total, 480 yards of the main color yarn, and 400 yards of the secondary color.

Because of differences in the stitch patterns, this shawl does require blocking. The best results will be achieved with a natural fiber yarn that responds well to being blocked.
