Mod Hive

This motif blanket made with Cascade Eco+ and worsted weight wool for the joins works up quickly. Once you’ve made a couple of the motifs, it's easy to remember how to make them without referring to the pattern, and joining the motifs at the end is quick and painless!

This is an eye-catching geometric pattern with some raised stitches to give the afghan some surface texture and interest.

Eco+ is a great base for this blanket, especially with its Art Deco inspired colors. It's cozy and warm, but has a very dramatic look that can be a great addition to any room in your house.

Yarn: Cascade Eco + (250g, 478yds/437m each). 1 ea. in C1 [4010 (Straw)], C2 [9452 (Summer Sky Heather)], and C3 [9447 (Forest Heather)]. Also, approximately 900 yds in white worsted weight for joining and trim.

Gauge: 1 motif = 5" from point to opposite point

Hook Size: 6.5 mm (or size needed to obtain gauge)
