The corresponding yarn-over ‘holes’ are twisted shut on the wrong-side rows, so the result is a non-lacy kind of lace knitting.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eMaterials: 900 yards of laceweight yarn. I used less than one skein of Vintage Purls Lace, a two-ply merino yarn, in a semi-solid grey. Fingering-weight yarn would also work well, with larger needles.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eMy scarf measures 200cm x 30cm. Instructions are included for customising the length and width.
