Product Description
Once again we return to the world of miniature stockings. But wait! These are for Halloween, not for Christmas! Instead of giving a treat bag to your favorite Trick or Treater, you can give them one of these miniature stockings.
There’s a Pumpkin stocking, a Boo stocking (with a jack-o-lantern and a ghost), and a Haunted House stocking (with a couple of ghosts, a small cemetery and some bats). Of course we have to have the Black Cat stocking with a chorus of cat heads on the bottom and finally, the All Things Witchy stocking that has everything a witch needs, a broom, boot(s), hat and a cauldron - the black cat is on another stocking.
This is an intermediate level pattern. Knowledge of Duplicate Stitch is required and there are a few rows that have 3 strands carried, instead of just 2.
COLOR CHARTS ONLY with written instructions for making stocking (starting with the hanger, number of stitches, written heel and toe instructions.

Miniature Halloween Stockings by Darlene Swaim
What Is Being Made
This downloadable knitting pattern set features five miniature Halloween-themed stockings designed as festive decorations or small gift holders. The collection includes the Pumpkin stocking, the Boo stocking (featuring a jack-o-lantern and ghost design), the Haunted House stocking (decorated with ghosts, cemetery elements, and bats), the Black Cat stocking (with a chorus of cat heads along the bottom), and the All Things Witchy stocking (showcasing Halloween witchcraft motifs). These miniature stockings can be filled with candy for trick-or-treaters, hung on spooky trees, draped on black swags, or displayed as standalone holiday decorations.
Techniques and Construction
These miniature stockings are created using knitting techniques appropriate for intermediate-level crafters. The designs incorporate decorative elements that suggest colorwork or intarsia methods to achieve the detailed Halloween imagery on each stocking. The pattern set provides specific color guidance for each individual stocking design, allowing knitters to recreate authentic Halloween aesthetics with proper color placement and shaping.
Stitches Used
While the PDF content references specific color pages, the exact stitch abbreviations and techniques are detailed within the full pattern instructions. Intermediate knitters will find this project suitable for developing skills in miniature garment construction and decorative knitting methods.
