Mini Egg Hats - Ornaments

These cute little hats can be used to hide cream eggs at Easter and as hanging ornaments on your Xmas tree or decorative wood branch all year round. This is a great mini project for beginners and even kids to try - with Mum or Dad helping with sewing!

I use basic stitches, simple embellishments, DK yarn and straight needles. They can be made with oddments of yarn of any thickness from your stash (a wool DK yarn is recommended in the pattern).

I explain how to make all the embellishments, except the pom pom. It will be a lot easier if you watch a video for that.
