Mermaid with Peplum Top

This pattern makes a sweet and cuddly mermaid doll, with a pretty peplum top. The doll can have simple knitted hair, or can be embellished with a hairstyle of your own design. The peplum top is is reversible, so you have two style options. Skills required include stockinette and ribbed stitches, k2tog, ssk, and centred double decrease (s2kp), m1 and fkb increases, bobbles, and mattress stitch. All pieces are knit flat and then seamed, stuffed, and assembled.

Mermaid Materials: 35 g of worsted weight yarn for body (A), 25 g of worsted weight yarn for tail (B), 15 g of worsted weight yarn for hair (C), extra 15-25 g of yarn for long hair (lace-worsted, optional)

Reversible Peplum Top Materials: 15 g of fingering weight yarn
