Measure Twice Cut Once

So named because it is always better to be sure of your measurements before committing to the cut! The icord which forms the foundation of the structure is not finalised until you reach the end of the piece.

Sister to one of my earlier patterns “How Long is a Piece of String” crescent shawl; this new wrap features a similar construction technique, but worked in a different shape and with a few extra details for the border design.

To make this wrap you will need to be able to knit, purl, make an icord (instructions given) yarn over, and decrease. Using two contrasting colours, it’s designed to use up the whole main colour skein and is fully adjustable for the yardage you have. Can also be made in heavier or lighter weight yarn if you wish!
