When made with the stated yarn weight and hook size, the finished toy will be approx 17cm tall from the top of the head to the feet when standing, and the body is 16cm long.

You will need to know how to do the following:

ch- chain

mr- magic ring

sl st- slip stitch

sc- single crochet

inc- increase

invdec- invisible decrease

sc2tog- single crochet two together

Changing colour in sc

Working in the round and in rows

Basic sewing skills

Materials needed:

● DK yarn- I used Hayfield bonus DK in Bottle green, Fields of gold, Black, White, Chocolate, Oatmeal, Walnut, Auburn and Paintbox yarns simply DK in Royal blue

● 3mm crochet hook

● 6mm black safety eyes

● Stuffing

● Scissors

● Sewing needle- appropriate size for the yarn

● Stitch marker

● Pins to help with sewing

● 2mm aluminium armature wire for the legs and feet

● Pliers with wire cutters
