Many Ways to Celtic Skirt

The stitch I used came to me by accident. I was working a vintage baby creeper pattern which called for a sc/dc stitch and I didn't know if it was using european terms or american terms, and as I began to work with the pattern and work it in rounds instead of in pieces, this diagonal pattern appeared and on the wrongside of the piece the stitches looked clean and elegant. I used this stitch to create this beautiful skirt and added celtic weave stitch at the bottom for decoration.
