The Magnolia crochet hat is made vertically, flat, in one piece. Repeating panels are connected as you go. The Magnolia stitch pattern is created using short rows and slip stitches that are smoothly integrated into the ribbing with an optional fold available.
The shape of the crown can be perfectly spherical, slightly, or extra pointy, depending on your design.
You need to know how to make a foundation chain, slst, and yoslst, to be ready to learn some slst modifications that are creating the design and follow instructions, and count stitches carefully.
