Maggie's Old Shale Shawl

Looks most attractive knit in a mohair type of yarn. Working with two strands of worsted weight held together will work too.

The shawl can be made wider by adding 18 stitches for each pattern. The shawl can be made longer by knitting until it's the length you would like. Extra yarn will be required to make the shawl larger.
