Lucy

Named for Marlene's favorite funny lady, here's Lucy! – a delicate shrug for looking stylish while taking off the chill.  This garter stitch design is worked from the top down with slight shaping at the waist.  The sleeves, also top down, are worked separately using short rows at their cap shoulder points for smooth shaping and ease in setting in.  Simple garter stitch trims center front edges, that continues up and around the back, where it rises slightly as it wraps the neckline.

SKILLS REQUIRED  Long-tail CO, Backward loop CO, decreasing (k2tog), increasing (kfb), short row shaping, stitch pick-up around neckline and center front for trim, seaming/setting in sleeves.
