Product Description
These Lovikka mittens are cushiony, being made of two strands of yarn and then fulled (felted)! The knitting is very simple and includes turned up cuffs. There are directions for two ways to full the mittens. After fulling to the desired size, the mitten is brushed, inside and out, for warmth and coziness, with optional embroidery and braid on the cuff for a traditional look. Glossary, bibliography, schematic, and chart for embroidery are included.
Gauge: Unfulled: 3.5 sts/inch and 5 ends/inch in St st. Fulled: 4 sts/ inches; round gauge varies.
