Product Description
For “Cable-Lovers” everywhere, this is the fingerless mitt pattern for you. There are two distinct cables in the mitt. The forearm stitch reminds me of a patchwork quilt. The underside cables are a more typical Aran Cable. If you are a cable knitter, this one will be fun for you to both make and wear. The unique thumb gusset will allow you to text, type and knit in style and warmth, with maximum flexibility.
These mitts are knit using two circular needles, and all the stitches are both charted and written out.
Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of knitting, purling, cabling, and increasing and decreasing).
These mitts were knit using Handmaiden’s/Fleece Artist’s BFL sport yarn in colorway, Scuba. Almost any heavy fingering weight yarn or sport weight yarn will work for this pattern, as long as you obtain gauge: Needle size US #3: 6 sts/inch
