Lonely wolf beanie

Like many of you I have always been faszinated by wolves. So no wonder they keep popping up in my patterns every now and then.

This time it's the lonely wolf in the snow beanie. He looks directly at you and is all around the hat. I often feel like a lonely wolf myself ;-)

The beanie starts with a two color ribbing, followed by a snow crystal chart. Then comes the band of lonely wolves in the falling snow. And there is a a gorgeous star at the crown!

The pattern is easier to knit than you may think as there are at most two colors in one round. The beanie uses three colors (white, black and gray):
