Lavender and Lace

Lavender and lace just seems to go together, from little lavender sachets with lace trim to cross stitch patterns and pillows. Well it’s time for crochet to have a turn at lavender and lace as it’s so pretty!

This is an intermediate pattern because there is some carried yarn in 2 designs and a detailed border with a video link to demonstrate the join. The pattern is written for mosaic overlay crochet (sc and dc stitches).

The pattern contains written instructions as well as charts marked with Xs. There are seven designs plus the border. Five designs have stitch repeats of 24 which are common to a lot of other patterns, so you can mix and match if you wish. It includes information about how to make larger blankets. Choose contrasting colours so the pattern stands out.
