Latvian Braid Cowl

This cowl is worked in continuous twined knitting. This kind of stitch when used as an edge treatment is called Latvian Braid. Twined knitting, or Latvian Braid, is worked in two color knit and purl rows, and the braided effect is achieved by carrying the colors over and under one another.
