Large Crossbody Mushroom Foraging Bag

This pattern was designed as a mushroom foraging bag but honestly it can be any kind of bag you like :). It could be your new food shopping bag or even a handbag if you add in a liner. I have designed it using 100% hemp yarn in DK but you can use any DK weight yarn you like.

The design is intentional to have plenty of gaps so that if you’re out foraging mushrooms, the spores of the mushrooms and any soil continue to fall to the ground whilst you carry the bag around.

You will receive a PDF which includes two patterns, one written in U.S. crochet terms and one in U.K. terms.

Measurements - One size but you can adjust the handle to be longer or shorter**.**

Height: 7” / 18cm approx

Width: 16.5” / 42cm approx

Depth: 6” / 15cm approx

Handle Length: 25” / 62cm approx

Gauge: 15 (Double Crochet / UK Treble) and 7.5 rounds = 10cm (4”)

You will need the following:

• 400g / 360 yards / 328 meters DK weight yarn.

• 4.5mm / 7 / US7

• Scissors

• Darning/Tapestry Needle
