Lace Lotus Pillow

Two layers of crochet create depth and texture with this beautiful throw pillow pattern.

Each side of this pillow is made up of two layers of crochet—a solid layer overlaid with a lace layer. The solid layer is crocheted in moss stitch to create a flat base for the lace overlay. The lace piece is crocheted in the star flower stitch pattern.

Use two contrasting colours to make the intricate lace details really stand out or use two similar colours for a subtle, textured look.

This pattern is written for a 14" square pillow form, however it also includes a size calculator if you'd like to make a different sized square pillow cover.

YARN:

Colour 1: Worsted weight yarn (350 yds | 320 m)

Colour 2: Fine or light weight yarn (165 yds | 150 m)
