Product Description
The Kingfisher Tee is a bright, airy knit, designed to wear on a mild summer day letting the breeze blow through the stitches. Fitted to the waist, it sits loosely over the bust and shoulders. This tee is a seamless simple knit with a modified feather lace pattern running up the centre and around the neckline.
Like the Kingfisher with its characteristic turquoise band centred on its tail, the lace accentuates the verticality of the torso, drawing the eye up to the neck and face. The wide triangular shoulders accentuate the natural shaping of the body from waist to shoulder, lying loosely over the top of the arm, fluttering in the breeze.
The Kingfisher Tee is knit in the round from the bottom up to the armpits, then back and forth to finish the front and back separately. The only seaming is at the shoulders where two sets of live stitches are grafted together.
Kingfisher is designed to be worn with 4-8cm positive ease around the bust, and 5-10cm negative ease around the waist.
