Soft yarn perfect for socks under wellies or hiking boots. Lovely muted shades. A little thicker than usual 4ply sock yarn but that said, it knits up perfectly.

Just in the process of knitting this now. Yet another pair of socks. The yarn is soft yet springy enough to knit good stretchy ribs that keep their grip.

Drifter yarn is so interesting with its random colouring /Black Cloud/ but it’s so clever as it comes out in super stripes and designs,lovely content of acrylic,cotton and wool.Yes it has a mind of its own!
Not only does it knit up well and to the tension of a 4 ply yarn but gives a good finish to the finished garment. Plus it washes up well also
