Jäävesi is a long lace knit warm scarf. Meaning 'ice water' in Finnish, Jäävesi is blocked heavily to increase the stitch pattern and to add fluidity to the fabric. Simple, yet impressive.

Sizes : One size. Measurements : 76” x 12” blocked. Yarn : 3 skeins Naturally Dyed by Annie Claire [100% organic wool, 4oz, 250 yds]. Shown in Red Cabbage. Needles : US 6 [4mm] straight or circular, or size to obtain gauge. Gauge : 19 sts and 28 rows = 4 inches in st st. Notions : Tapestry needle.
