Ischl

“Ischl” is named after my beloved town of “Bad Ischl”, a cosy place in an idyllic countryside in Austria. My intention was to design a modern shawl with a traditional touch, using traditional patterns combined with a wearable shape.

The crescent shaped shawl is knit sideways in one piece, the I-Cord edges are worked as you go. The little cables of the cable border don´t need a cable needle, so it´s an enjoyable knit.

Pattern contains written instructions, chart for the cable border, a photo tutorial and a schematic.

The total yardage in DK weight yarn ist 825 m / 902 yards.

Gauge is 16 sts x 27 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4“ x 4“ in garter stitch (before blocking)
