The stitch used is a deconstructed brioche stitch which creates a lovely, thick and squishy, reversible fabric. The Cowl is knit flat and begins with a single color worked in-pattern with the second color added in after a few inches. Both colors are used until the first color is nearly gone. The project is then finished with an additional few inches in the secondary color. Because this is a brioche stitch, there is only ever 1 color used at a time so the colorwork looks much more complicated than it actually is.
