Icy Textures Cowl

Frigid air that makes your breath “smoke,” icicles hanging from rooftops, frosty trees – these call to mind the deep icy blue color of winter. This versatile cowl is a great unisex design that will keep you warm and comfortable.

The pattern is written for one size that results in a cowl 34” (86 cm) circumference x 8.5” (21.5 cm) height, however there are instructions with the number of repeats to make it larger or smaller.

The sample was made in Stonehedge Fiber Mill Shepherd's Wool yarn, which is made of 100% Merino and each skein contains 250 yards (229 m) / 113 g). Any light worsted weight wool yarn should work, however you will need at least 250 yards.
