Product Description
The short, easy repeats of this pattern makes it simple and soothing to make. After just a few rows, you will barely have to look at the pattern, and it's so pleasing to see the design develop as you knit.
Great for gift knitting, too! With 5 sizes to choose from, you can make this hat for the whole family. The hat is intended to be worn with 2 - 3"/ 5 - 7.5 cm negative ease (that is, smaller than the actual head circumference).
You have the choice of working from the color chart or from full written instructions, whichever you prefer.
Gauge: 32 stitches and 28 rows to 4”/ 10 cm in pattern. The colorwork draws the stitches closer together than if you were working in stockinette stitch. My own gauge using this yarn and this needle size in single-color stockinette is 24 sts and 28 rows/ 4”. You should still do your own gauge swatch in order to ensure that the hat fits as you wish!
